Bling it – Metallic foil kit
The Bling it metallic foil kit for clothing is a great little package that packs a punch. You can use it on its own, or with our range of inks, stencils and stamps. It allows you to add a little extra shine to any item of clothes be it a shirt, trousers, jacket or bag.
Each kit contains:
Three sheets of metallic foil
One brush
A pot of special water based glue to fix. ( non toxic)
How to use:
Brush glue onto garment. For desired effect you can use freehand brush strokes or a stencil ( we have many to choose from).
Leave for around 15-30 mins until glue feels tacky and not wet.
Cut a piece of metallic foil to cover the glued design ( be mindful not to cut too big and waste the foil) and place over area coloured side up
Gently press the foil down with finger
Put an iron onto a cool/med setting
Place a piece of grease proof area over the foil and iron for 2-3 seconds.
Gently peel the foil away from the fabric, if it looks like not much foil has attached to the cloth, go over it once again carefully with an iron.
To Wash:
Turn the shirt inside-out.
Use a wash-by-hand method ONLY, with cold water and a mild detergent.
Hang dry.
Do not iron over the foil.
Do not tumble-dry.
All of our creator kits are totally sustainable, even our clear bags are made from wood pulp making it both totally biodegradable and compostable.
