February half term creative workshops for kids. As we are part of the Fat Tuesday unplugged festival this year, we thought it would be great to invite young and old to design and print their own band t-shirt. This might be for a band that already exists or for one that you would like to create. It could be real or imaginary. This february half term print workshop for kids will include designing and screen printing a two colour design onto a t-shirt.
(These can be provided at an extra cost, or you can bring in your own plain t-shirt )

Adults and kids are welcome to all the workshops.

Design print and make a festival mask. Using cardboard, stamps, stencils and inks. You are invited to design, stamp, print and make a wonderful mask worthy of a Mardi Gras procession. Some templates and examples will be provided, but your own creative ideas are encouraged.

“Drop in” – 11.00 – 4.00pm

Come and make your own giant stamps to print up a banner or poster. Using stamp making materials, you will design, draw and cut a large scale stamp to print up your artwork. This can be made into either a poster or a banner. All materials will be supplied.

Half term Halloween Drop in Print Workshop – Come and join us on our half term halloween drop in workshop where you can
design and print your own fabric patches. Embellish, personalise and print an existing item into a spooky work of art,
using various printing techniques including silkscreening, stamping, stencilling and painting.
Please bring your own clothes garments or items to apply patches to.
An extra £5 cost will be added for any t shirts we supply.

Wed 17th Aug – Little Mashers clothes hospital and upcycling print workshop
This session will be for parents and kids combined. You are invited to bring along any clothes that are stained,ripped or just need a little “shooshing” up. You can stamp, stencil or patch old denim, t-shirts, skirts, trousers or jackets. Embellish, personalise and print an existing item into a work of art, using various printing techniques including silkscreening, stamping, stencilling and patching.

Wed 10th Aug – Print a poster or slogan t-shirt
How would you make the world a better place. What makes you sad,happy, angry, What problems do you think there are with the world. Nearly half of the global population are between 10-24 yrs old – the largest youth population ever. You have the greatest voice! What would you say are the worlds problems, what message would you want to shout out about.
Choose a creative way to share your message, and create!
Using up to two colour screen printing or relief printing techniques. With an exhibition of all artworks at Stella Dore on 11th Aug

Wed 3rd Aug – Design and print your own t shirt
Calling all young designers! Learn the techniques of laying and printing up to three colours using drawing, stencilling and screen printing techniques to design your own three colour T-shirt. This is an extended workshop to explore in more depth the medium of silkscreen printing and layering of colours. Please let us know which session you would prefer.
Strictly ages 7 upwards.
10am – 1.00 pm.
2 – 5.00 pm.

Make a t-shirt or create a portrait or picture using simple stencils, stamps and inks
All materials will be provided. Inks used are vegan and eco friendly.
Each design made will be cured and made permanent.
